My Mother, Ella Geneva Curtis was born in Tyroler, and I am wondering where it is located now. Her parents, Z.B. Curtis and Mary Jane Green were married in Hart, Indian Territory,Ok. I have a certified copy of this marriage. But there is a mistake on my grandfathers name. It is D.B. (should have been Z.B. Curtis) I got this from Ardmore. I was told by one of my Mothers cousins that the town of Tyroler no longer exists. is this true? I am also serching for my fathers parents record of marriage. I know they were married in Ok. Indian Territory, but I am not sure of where they were married. However their marriage date is Aug. 5, 1894 John C.Wodkins & Emily Ann Farthing. I hope you can help.
Could the town possibly be: Tyrone* Beaver Northwest section of Oklahoma? This information came from a 1895 listing of towns in Indian Territory.
