My paternal grandmother moved with her family from Cookeville, Putnam County, TN, in the early 1900's (c. 1903) with several of her mother's siblings and their families (the William Rayburn family, James and Mary White and family, Sarah Slagle and family, and Ella Wheeler) along with her maternal grandmother (Nancy Ann "Eliza" (Chisum) Rayburn). They all settled down in Pontotoc County (eventually). Jake Wilmoth was a carpenter who built houses, his family living in them one they were far enough along in the construction and then moving out into another so the finished one could be sold. He died April 5, 1929 in Ada. Delia Wilmoth left Ada shortly after Jake's death to live with her children (various ones through the years) and died in Oklahoma City in July of 1947. Although I don't know for certain they were both buried in Ada, it seems highly likely. I'd also be interested in the burial locations of Delia's siblings and mother as they are likely to be in Ada (or at least Pontotoc County), too. Thanks for any leads/information.

With this many of your relatives in here I would suggest checking into buying this book for your records. I bought mine several years ago for $15.00.
