It is my understanding that two Tillery brothers, Frank and Thomas (or "Tom") Tillery, went to Pontotoc County around 1925. Franklin K. Tillery was born March 13, 1877 in Saline County, AR. He married (1) Rose Burnet and (2) Eda Belle Blair Crawford. His children were: Myrtle, Geneva Lucille, Edna Abby Estelle, Allie Walter, Virgil Thomas, Bertha, and Ruby Mae Tillery. Frank died in 1941 and is buried in Allen Cemetery. Thomas Tillery was born on September 23, 1881 in Perry County, AR. He married (1) Lillie Keener and (2) Martha Elizabeth Sanders Frederick. His children were: Lillie E., Thomas, Jasper, William T. ("Bill"), Joseph M., Cecil, Hanan (or Hanah?), Roda, Mary, Doshie, Beaty, Samuel Albert, Royal Franklin, and Imogene Tillery. Thomas died on June 18, 1943 and is buried in Allen Cemetery. I am writing a Tillery family history book that includes these people and their descendants.
