Since I replied to your post this a.m., I happened onto another post by you on Rootsweb, Denton Co, TX, which answered my questions. Curious though, my Henry H. TUCKER owned land there in 1850 & his will is on file there. Bet they all knew each other. Bobbie
I'm trying to compile a new Center Cemetery list. If you know of anyone who was buried there after 1968 or were not on the 1969 list, please send me the information. Brandon W.

Surnames: TUCKER, ARCHER, TALLEY, THOMAS, BRITTAIN, VOSS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FcB.2ACI/1191 Message Board Post: I am searching for the marriage of William L. Tucker to Mary "Mollie" Ann Thomas or Brittain between 1889 - 1910, I do not know where they married. She shows on the 1910 Census as M. A. Tucker, Ada, Pontotoc Co., OK running a hotel with the help of her daughter, Fannie and Fannie's husband, William Talley and Fannie's son William Emory Archer about 5 years old. I do not know if Mary Anns's husband was listed anywhere else on the 1910 Census but it does not say divorced or widow it says married. In 1921 it shows her as "widow" but I know NOTHING about William L. Tucker and would love to find anything on him. I heard she called him "Mr. Tucker from Texas" when speaking about him to her grandchild, Fern. I do not know where he was in 1900 but I have never located Mary "Mollie" Ann in 1900 either. Mary "Mollie" Ann Fowler was born @1855 in McKinny, Collin Co, TX she was married first to a Robert Meek who abandoned her and their baby. In Searcy Co. AR 1879 she then married a widower James Clark Thomas, a man with a lot of children and they had children, then he died. She then married a Henry Brittain in 1889 in Conway Co. AR. Mr. Brittain didn't like her children and she divorced him. I lose her until 1910 when she shows up in Ada running that hotel and I never located William L. Tucker with her anywhere. She then remains single until she raises the grandson, William Emory Archer, alone. Then Mar. 4, 1931, giving her age as 75 she married Henry Ha who was 77 years old and was married to him for about 7 years before she died. I was delighted to receive the first name of Mr. Tucker from Texas from a kind researcher, Mark Adkinson, and now I know I am searching for William L. Tucker, I do not know the year of his birth and I am not positive where he was born but I would be delighted with ANY information on this man so I can give Fern, the grandchild of Mary "Mollie" Ann more information. She is 91 and is delighted when I locate anything for her. She has Parkinson and just cannot search as she used to do. I would be so grateful for any information on this man or woman. Thank you for your time. Charlene
