You should be able to order a death certificate from the Oklahoma Vital Records Dept. at: http://www.health.state.ok.us/program/vital/brec.html It will cost $10.00 but will give you the exact death date and where they are buried, cause of death and depending on the informants knowledge of the deceased will give parents names. Hello, In the Rosedale Cemetery book that I got from the Pontotoc Genealogical Society several years ago they have the following information: Henry, Emma Jo Alice -buried 3 Jan 1946 age 95 years E-46-6-3 Henry, Ida -dau of Charles M. (b. Ala) & Emma Becknall Henry (b. I'm searching for Betsey GREENWOOD full blood Chickasaw Indian) that married Jesse James OWENS circa 1902. They had a daughter named Laura Vaginia OWENS, b: 06/17/1903 in Murray Co. OK. According to Laura, her Mother Betsey GREENWOOD was born 12/02/1882 to Cubby Cochautubby (not sure of spelling) and Lou Brown. Lou Brown's parents were said to be Henry NORTON and Bella (BROWM) WOLFE. I have roll numbers for Belle, Lou, Betsey and Laura. Betsey also had a daughter prior to her marriage to Jesse James OWENS. Her name was Pearl and she married Boyd GAY. They had no children. Another possiblity is that Jesse James OWENS brother, Earl Layafette OWENS married Minnie Hawkins (full blood Chickasaw Indian also). Her parents were Scotland (Scott) HAWKINS and Rebecca GREENWOOD.
