"Pop" PERRY June 1, 1932 - Dec. 13, 2000 Robert L. "Pop" Perry, 68, of Chula Vista died Wednesday. He was born in Ada, Okla. Mr Perry was retired after working as a deisel engineer. He served in the Navy and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Survivers include his wife, Mollie S. Perry; daughters, Renee Blair and Renell Homan of Chula Vista, sons, Robert Redon Perry of San Diego and Roy Lee Perry of Santee; sisters, Pauline Williams ofEl Reno, Okla. and Lois Reed of Lexington, Okla.; brother William Perry of Miami, Okla.; six grand children and one great grandchild. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Fort Rosecrans National Cemetary, Point Loma Donations: San Diego Diabetes Association. Arrangements: Caring Cremation Services.

Only information is that he was born 24 November 1895 in Arkansas (probably in the Craighead County area) and died February 1966 in Dallas, Texas. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister. Brother Edward married a lady named Clara; they moved to Dallas, Texas. Richard Randolph married Effie Mae Fuller and moved to Dallas, Texas. Brother went by "Dock"; sister's name was Neaf. Does the county clerk have this record. It was not found in the state records. I would really appreciate any help. I got off on a wrong track, and now have to backtrack on my research. Several of my Cole family moved to various areas in Oklahoma so it's possible there is a connection.

Sparks. She was born January 8, 1875 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Thomas E. Sparks and Martha Curtis. i believe that they lived for a time near Atwood.
