    3. There is a Ronnie Greenwood and family, and also a Sam Greenwood and family that live is Stratford. It is just across the Pontotoc County line, in Garvin County. Hope this helps.     3. The only Greenwoods we know live down south of Ada at Fittstown. Lorene Greenwood and her family still live there; it is in south Pontotoc County. They are Chickasaw; Lorene's husband was Buster Greenwood. Does this help any?     3. Kathy - Galloway is as far back as we can go..we DO have an aunt that we can ask (if she remembers) if Galloway had any brothers. We live in Shawnee, but she still lives in Ada. His father was Jack and his mother was Julie Pitchlynn. They lived around Tishomingo during the 1800's. Jack and Julie was Chickasaw Indians. After Jack Pitchlynn died, Julie married a Frank Greenwood and they had a son named: Jeff Greenwood. One of Eli's children was named: Jackie Sue Pitchlynn who recently died in Tishomingo. Her father was Eli and her mother was Betty Brown Pitchlynn. Any information that you have on this family would be highly appreciated. I would like to know if they are related in someway to the family of Peter P. Pitchlynn. Eli Pitchlynn owned land in Pontotoc County around the Roff area. Thanks. Bob

She is a descendent of my great uncle Luther Hodges. She has done research on our family back to 1740's. Luther died in Ponotoc Co in the 1970's.     3. Write to the Oklahoma Historical Society in Oklahoma City and get information on the type of research they do. They have the enrollment packets of those who were born or married into the Indian Tribes, including Chickasaw. I think the fee now is $20.00 search fee, plus copying and postage, but am not sure.
