She was the daughter of James McREYNOLDS and Catherine KNOTT. Ann McREYNOLDS married Thomas ARNOLD in 1850 in Washington Co. VA. Thomas ARNOLD was born about 1815 in VA or TN depending on which Census you want to believe. (Parents unknown; which is what I am currently trying to find and thinking he could be one of the "Immortal 18"). He died Bet. 1889-1894 in Knoxville, TN. 1850 Washington County, VA Census indicates that Thomas ARNOLD, age 35, was a "boarder" with the James McREYNOLDS family. Thomas married the 17 year old daughter of McREYNOLDS. Thomas ARNOLD & Ann McREYNOLDS had 8 children that lived and 5 that died as babies. In the 1870 & on Census records they lived in Knoxville, TN.
