Jan, I have checked in the Baxter Springs Cemetery Book and find no Weiman , but have a Wyman listed -- Unnamed March 1, 1918 Picher -- Loyd Feb 23, 1918 -- Roy Feb. 23, 1918 Picher - Unfortunatly they only list the date of Death. I find nothing close in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Ok. Miami is south of Picher and Baxter Springs is North of Picher . Cardin is South West of Picher. If I can be of any Help further let me know. I was born in Whitebird Additon of Cardin, Oklahoma in 1938 lived there until I was in 7 th grade and moved to Commerce, Ok. which is So. of Cardin and No. of Miami. George E. Turner P.S. You can find the Dobson Museum on the Net. It is in Miami ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2000 1:57 PM Subject: [OKOTTAWA] looking for Wiman (Weiman, Weman) descendants > Dear list -- > > I have sent my family info awhile back, but would like to try again. > > Last year I visited Miami & Picher, OK in search of information on the > descendants of my great Uncle, Carl Henry Wiman (sometimes spelled Weiman or > Weman).
