This my son in law's grandmother. Does any one remember her or know where her husband was buried? Possibly he is at Webb City. He would have died about 1932. I have been loaned a clipping out of some newspaper showing Vera Ruth Wood receiving Teacher of the Year in Ottawa county public schools. She taught at Picher and is shown with her principal, Harold jones. It was at an OEA meeting at Miami after she had taught 35 years. We laid her to rest today. This is when the family relized that know ones knows about her husband or his people. She had remained single and raised her son. All help will be very much appreciated.
