Ann, You didn't say what you already know about the Wallen's so I will give you some information I have by accident. Ben Wallen was my step-dad's god father. He could probably tell you more about their history but he is in ill health and I'm not sure if he would feel up to it. Anyway, there are several Wallen's buried at the Fairland Cemetery including James. Also, the VFW or some military type organization is named for him. If you need a listing of those buried there I could probably scan you the page.
