Posted on: Ottawa County Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Ottawa/442 Surname: MOORE ------------------------- Wondering about the community of Lincolnville, OK. My great uncle J.W. (Jake) MOORE was living there in Nov. 1919. What was primary occupation of residents at that time? Cemetery listings available where? Just trying to find a starting place in my search for this man and his family. Thanks! Cindy
Hi Julie - I wish I had some good news for you. The only Boatright that I have is my gggrandmother, Mary Frances Boatright b in VA moved to KY where she married Samuel B. Brockman. I do not have the name of her parents or brothers and sisters. I do know that after Samuel died, Mary F. remarried to a ? Coleman and moved to the Jasper County, MO area where she died about 1904. Good luck in your research. Posted on: Ottawa County Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Ottawa/440 Surname: Morris, McCain ------------------------- Researching Elmo Morris b/abt 1888 in Ark. and Mole McCain b/abt 1890 in Tx. they were in Miami, Ok where a son Robert Julian Morris was born 1920. Would you be part of this Morris family?
What a New Year's gift! I don't know if these Guffeys will lead me anywhere or not but I am having a terrible time trying to straighten out my grandmother's family. I was reading my diary this winter and remembered after seeing it in print that my parents and I stopped in Fairland, OK in December, 1952. My father was searching for "cousins" --found them and visited for maybe twenty or thirty minutes. I don't remember even getting out of the car though. Aren't diaries wonderful? My grandmother's brother had a son, John who was supposedly 1 in the 1880 census. I did another search over the holidays and discovered Clifford Guffey's death. Now if I could just find some of his living relatives.......... Thank you again for giving me new hope with a lengthy brick wall. There is no chance of acquiring a virus from the choctaw-web site; the virus --- which several people have said does not appear on their anti-virus scans, --could be a hoax or activated by replying to email or opening an attachment that says: "The Real Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" sent by SexNFun. If you see that delete it immediately without opening. Rusty Lang <A HREF="http://www.choctaw-web.com/site_map.htm">Click here: SITE MAP </A>

I've been receiving these for about 3 weeks, but this was the first time I've been able to pinpoint where it was coming from - good thing email is slow today. See http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w95.hybris.gen.html for information on what to do and you will probably want to update your virus software and contact others that you email frequently, especially those that are new to computers. Posted on: Ottawa County Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Ottawa/437 Surname: ------------------------- This family I am looking at was supposed to have been living in Ottowa CO, MIAMI, OK. I am looking for the data of Jim O'shea, their marriage date unknown. And on the O'shea side of the line I have nothing. But Jim's wife was Lulu Turnage the sister of Danny Turnage b- 26 Oct 1875 (the only date I have) and the daughter of Samuel Turnage. I am really in the dark about them as they were obviously of Native American descent and I have heard they did live in Muskogee for a time. As I have it they migrated from MO.
