    3. Hello listers, I am new to your list and would like to know if anyone out there is familiar with the RORK family of Dewer or Henryetta. My Great Grandparents were Frank E. and Laura Victoria Virginia "Hatcher" Rork. They moved to OK sometime in 1899 or 1900. They were from Ohio originally. My Grandmother, Laura Beetrice "Rork" Davis, born December 1, 1900 in Muskogee, Indian Territory, Creek Nation. Frank E. was a breakman with the Railroad and later they ran a boarding house in Dewer or Henryetta. They had 9 children, Elwood, b. 1883; Carl Wesley, b. 1884; Harley LeRoy, b. 1886; Frederick Hall, b. 1888; Mary Ethel, b 1891; Howard (Skinny), b. 1892; Floyd Carter (Bill), b. 1897; Laura Beetrice, b. 1900; and Alice Fay, b. 1902. My Great Grandparents on my Davis side were Newton and Agnes "Luke" Davis. Newton was a coal miner and farmer. They came to the Dewer/Henryetta area around the 1900 ca. They also ran a boarding house in the area. My Grandfather Alvin Burt Charles Davis, b. 1894, was the only boy with eight sisters. His sisters were; Sarah Jane, b. 1879; Maud, b. 1882; Mary Edna Estella, b. 1885; Myra Beatrice, b. 1886; Nellie Grace, b. 1888; Katherine Bell, b. 1891; Ethel Treasa, b. 1896; Cecilean Octavia, b. 1899. Any information or kin that might have information on these family's, please let me know. I am also interested in information about the coal mines in the area. Thank you, Vivien A. Andrews Cimarron, NM
