Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Okmulgee/620 Surname: smith, johnson, corn ------------------------- hi received your message on the judge smith and your grandma hattie in okmulgee co, okmulgee, okla. i am researching smiths, but don't have any current info. my SMOKE SMITH was on the 1835 Cherokee Nation Census in walker co, ga. my gr grandmother, huldah e johnson, was born in nc in 1843, her father refused to enroll because he didn't want to be removed and hid out instead. huldah was a direct descendant of old SMOKE, her parents were john and sarah johnson, grandfather, john h johnson, gr greatfather, john hiram johnson. she married my gr grandfather, john a corn. he was born in ga. but moved at an early age to mo and then into okla. huldah died in tahlequah and john a. at okmulgee. he is buried in morris cementery, okmulgee co. if you have anything or recognize anything, give me a holler. if you want, just give me a holler anyway!!! josie2tx@aol.com jo claire corn dollar
