I am working on my caves line and need some research help. Could someone please look up in the city directory or the 1920 Oklahoma State census for my great grandfather Issaih Grant caves( used initials IG Caves) My uncles tell the story of family bringing him out of the Kiamichi mountains. Issaih grant caves was a farmer. family tradition claims Issaih was a school teacher,music teacher, and deacon In the southern Baptist church. Since this is family stories, I would like some documentation, would like to place my greatgrandfather in a particular locality. I would appreciate any ones help. thanks in advance, My grandparents didnt keep records and the bible that was Issaih grant Caves is in poor condition with names blotted out, and torn and Brittle pages.
