Both sides of my family are from there. Johnson surname: father: Jack Johnson, mother: ? Waldrop-Johnson, children: Clarence, Ed (Sy), Gladys, Homer, Pearl, Carl Floyd (Sam), and Roy (Rusty). Hart surname: father: Jesse Walter Hart, mother: Theodocia (Doshie Belle) Elizabeth James-Hart, children: Harvey, Charles Jackson, Edna Mural (Mert), Harold Douglas (Doug), James Wayne (Jamie), Mary June (Jerry), and Betty Jean (died at birth).
