Rev. Rick Gibbs will officiate. Interment will be in the Okmulgee cemetery under the direction of Buchanan-Wise-McClendon Funeral Home. Mr. Goins died Wednesday at the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. He was born July 20, 1893 in Webb City, MO. He came to Okfuskee and married Hazel Southwick in 1912. He was a member of the First Christian Church. A son, Elmo Goins preceded him in death in 1978. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Goins, of the home, 1509 East 10th, three grand-children, and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Goins, who died early Saturday morning in a Tulsa hospital, was born Dec. 19, 1913 in Okfuskee County. He was reared in Morris and graduated from Morris High School. He later moved to Okmulgee and is retired from the furniture business and car sales. He was a member of the Christian Church. survivors include his wife, Elsie of the home at Rt. 2, Okmulgee, three daughters, Mrs. Karen Anne Howard, Mrs. Linda Kay Rains; Broken Arrow, and Mrs. Connie Sue Ardrey, Marsascola, Island of Malta, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Amos Goins, Okmulgee, and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Vernis Harris, Elmer Laub, T. J. Volturo, Jimmy Skinner, Bob Ray, and David Cunningham.

He married Lillian May Callahan, b 1897 in AR, in 1920 in Okmulgee Co., Oklahoma. Lillian is the daughter of William Franklin and Angeline Cheek Callahan. Lillian and Ulysses and one daughter, that I know of, named Dora Boyd. Dora was b 1922 in Okmulgee Co., Oklahoma and d 1971 in Okmulgee Co., Oklahoma. Dora married Harley W Vancil in Okmulgee Co., Oklahoma. I don't know if they have children. Dora's father, William Franklin is the son of Kelsy and Jane Greeson Callahan.
