Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Okmulgee/555 Surname: HOLMES ------------------------- Charles and Julia Ricard Holmes migrated to Okmulgee County, shortly before 1910. They lived in Beggs and maybe Pasco(?). Their son was also Charles who was married to Mary. Additionally Charles and Julia had a daughter, Bertha, born circa 1895 in Louisiana. Charles Holmes Jr. had these known children, some of whom may still be alive, Gulletha, Ethel, Seth, Ruth, and Preston. One of these daughters may have married a Clinksdale or Clinckscale and had a daughter "Daisy". This African American family migrated to your area from Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.

    3. Posted on: Okmulgee Co. Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/Okmulgee/545 Surname: Heath ------------------------- If anyone in the Okmulgee County area would be willing to do a lookup for me I would appreciate it. I am trying to find any information on the death of my great-grandmother JANIE (Jannie sp?) HEATH who died around 1907-1910. The 1910 census for SCHULTER Township in Okmulgee County shows my great-grandfather NOEL G. HEATH (her husband) listed as a widow. Their youngest child, LEONARD (my grandfather) was born in 1907 so I know her death would have been somewhere between the time he was born and the 1910 census. Family stories say that she died when my grandfather was 2 or 3 years old from measles. I would like to obtain a copy of her death certificate and if possible any obituaries, cemetery location, etc... I am willing to pay for copies and mailing costs. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
