    2. There is a WWI draft registration on Ancestry.com. It gives his birth place as Muskogee, OK. I doubt very much that there would be a birth certificate for him. In 1900 most babies were born at home so your best bet is to take the WWI draft registration as proof of birth. You can also look for his death certificate in TX. One World Tree gives as death as 3 Oct 1957 in Texas.
