He came to Oklahoma territory before statehood and I can only find limited information. He moved from Ft. Smith Arkansas when my grandfather was 13 (b. 1887)which would be 1900. The territorial census shows 12 children but we only knew of 7. There apparently was a second marriage but I can't find out where or when and if so when my ggrandmother first wife)died.
