He was an Army veteran of World War 1. He was an oilfield worker until 1940 & was an Aircraft Inspector at Tinker until he retired at age 62, & a member of the Midwest City American Legion. Survived by his wife Mamie of the home, 5 sons, Joe of Hatteras NC, Kenneth of Del City, Bob of Amarillo, Texas, Paul and Tommy, both of Midwest City; 3 daughters, Magie Moser of Merced, California, Mary Naney of Chickasha, Nancy Baffeny of Ottawa, Illinois; a sister, Lena Crossnoe of Stillwater; 30 grandchildren & 34 great-grandchildren."
