I was told that he was the son of Billye Wilcoxen Cogburn. Billye died in 1985. Her husband Warren Cogburn died in 1993. He had remarried after Billye died. It was this second wife that told me that Billye had a son named Jimmy Walker who lived in Oklahoma City, OK somewhere and that his wife's name was Susan. Billye was evidently somehow related to my Pierce line, she being somehow descended from my Great Grandmother's sister. I found a query in an old Oklahoma genealogy book years ago and when I tried to contact her found out that she had already passed away. Her husband's new wife did not want to relate any information to me at all about her, except to tell me about this son of hers named Jimmy Walker. If anyone has heard of them please let me know, as I would like to contact him to see if he knows our connection. There are a ton of Jimmy or James Walkers in Oklahoma County, so I haven't begun writing to all of them ye! t, as that would cost quite a bit in postage.
