Evening, folks...I'm putting together a hard-copy genealogy to send to a couple of family members and I'd like to include some old photos of Oklahoma City; their part of the family arrived there about between 1900-1910 and I would love to show them what it was like there when their ancestors arrived. Does anyone have any suggestions? My second question is about finding a death date.... I believe Lewis R. Persons died in Oklahoma City between 1930-1940 (he was born 1864 in Ohio). Where can I look for a death date? Any help on these sure would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my quest. Have a nice night, y'all!!! regards, Kate Sowdon [email protected]
My suggestion for the photos would be the Oklahoma Historical Society. Their website is http://www.ok-history.mus.ok.us/. City directories could probably help narrow down a date of death. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kate Sowdon" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 22, 2005 4:48 PM Subject: [OKCo.] Photos and death dates > Evening, folks...I'm putting together a hard-copy genealogy to send to a > couple of family members and I'd like to include some old photos of > Oklahoma > City; their part of the family arrived there about between 1900-1910 and > I > would love to show them what it was like there when their ancestors > arrived. > Does anyone have any suggestions? > > My second question is about finding a death date....
