Hi, Did you ever get an answer about the girls school? The only school the I knew about was the girls reform school out of Tecumseh, Ok. That is just south of Shawnee, Ok. The name has changed and is now a coed? school for troubled kids. My mother-in-law was a house mother there years ago, before it changed to house both sexes. I don't know if I can help much, as I was just a young girl when I heard of it. It was a reformatory for wayward girls and they usually stayed there until the age of 18 yrs.
