Not easily anyway, since about all that existed at that time was a train station and post office. The city didn't get populated until the land opening on 22 April 1889 when a tent city sprang up around the train station. The place was first known as Oklahoma Station. The name wasn't officially changed to Oklahoma City until 1 Jul 1923 but it was commonly called Oklahoma City since the time of the land opening.
