Need a look up in Keota , Oklahoma (haskell county) Looking for city directory information or possible obit/death notice for my ggrandfather He would have died after 1934-1935 but probably lived in Madison caounty, ark 1930- as he is on 1930 census for that year in madison county,ark He was married april 28,1930 to Molly cOOPER and lived with her son but according to his daughters obit 1934-1935 he was living in Keota, ok at time of her death. His name was Nathan (Naith,Nate) CURRY(spelled CRAY ) in obit. I have checked various arkansas death indexes either he is not buried there or his grave is unmarked. Nathan was born 1860 Ill his parents b. (according to census) IoWa Nathan md. 1 "mrs. Louisa Shipley" De.c 1881 Evansville,arkShe died between 1920-1930 as she is on 1920 census for arkansas but not 1930 census. We suspect that Nathan moved into Oklahoma for a few brief few years before his death. The children of Molly cooper who are deceased and buried in Madison county ark sho no indication that she or nathan is buried there. Any help finding Nathan would be appreciated. Douglas is Oklahoma County as well, there are census records for Oklahoma County from 1900-1930 available. In 1900 it was in Oklahoma Territory, didn't become a State until 1907. Pre-statehood Oklahoma Territory has Census records but I am not well versed enough to be specific about what all is available.
