I think they are all deceased by now but not sure about other relatives: their children, grandchildren, etc. Martha ( 1877), Robert (1879) buried in city cemetary Tahlequah, Oklahoma , Reuben (1881) buried in Oklahoma City, James Franklin (1887) my grandfather,d. 1966-buried in Oklahoma City, George Washington (Wash)(1889) d. 1975 Dora (1894) d. 1983, Ada (1883), Bunyan (1885), Will (1887),Mattie (1890). Ada, Bunyan, Will & Mattie were all named Luck. I have checked the Dawes rolls for the 2 youngest Graham children (Wash & Dora) but no luck. Their mother was named Martha Ellen and I've found listed on census records under Ellen so my question is when did she die and Lillie came into the picture? My mother and I searched extensively but were never able to find out what happened to Martha Ellen. My guess is that she is buried in an unmarked grave somewhere around Stigler as that is where the family moved from Fort Smith. Any further information would be greatly appreciated. Mrs Bulkley died at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning. She is survived by her husband, her son and her daughter, Mrs Edith Lutz, and seven grandchildren, all of whom reside in the city. She came to Oklahoma City two and a half years ago and since that time has made her home here. For several years she resided at Guthrie, Okla. FYI: http://www.ok.gov/health/Birth_and_Death_Certificates/Death_Certificates/ Oklahoma began filing death records in October of 1908. It was not mandatory, however, that these records be filed until 1917. Because death records were not required in years past as they are today for identification, the filing process in many years prior to 1940 are sketchy. It is the responsibility of the hospital or the funeral director in each matter of death to properly obtain the information needed and file the certificate in a timely manner. He passed away on Nov. 28, 2008, at Rogue Valley Medical Center, in Medford, Ore. As a child the Grahams lived in Oklahoma, and then moved to the Southern California area. He later moved to the Rogue Valley, attended Medford High School, and eventually settled here in Medford. He served our country from 1946 to 1947 with the U.S. Army Air Forces, and then with the U.S. Air Force in 1953 to 1955. Derward had a passion for flying. When married to his children's mother, Barbara Graham, he traded their only car for an airplane. They could not drive to the coast, but stories of the young couple making a few beach landings have been told. While raising their boys, Derward worked in lumber sales. He was known for shipping unsold railroad cars full of Oregon lumber across the nation, then rerouted the nearest cars to the customer when sold. He will always be remembered for his love of horses, fishing, hunting, coaching, and for encouraging his sons to participate in school activities and sports. Grandpa Graham loved his grandchildren very much. He loved spending time with them, and his long-time companion, Jeanne Hopkins. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him as Brother, Dad, Grandpa, Dar, and Dewwy. He is survived by his sister, Jane Stewart; sons, Craig, Mark, and Kelly; grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, Natalie, Sophie, Nathan, and Nicole; and two great-grandchildren.
