    3. Actually, Moore is an extremely large suburb of Oklahoma City with its own post office. It is also served by the funeral homes in the Oklahoma City area. You may wish to do an archive search of the "Daily Oklahoman" newspaper to locate obituaries at www.newsok.com. FYI: The phone number to the John Ireland FH is (405) 799-1200. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 18, 2005 7:21 PM Subject: [OKCo.] Re: Obit, please - Churchman > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YaB.2ACI/1391.1 > > Message Board Post: > > This is the only funeral home in Moore. 2. This land that is now a mall appears to be very close to where my great aunt and uncle had their dairy. If anyone comes across reference to SAMUEL AND/OR EDITH CONREY I would so appreciate a heads-up e-mail. My information at present is that they sold the stone house and dairy and land to the "church" which then moved all family graves to the "church yard" and later, when the "church sold to the Mall developers, the graves were moved to Rose Cemetery. I did find Sam's parents, my great-great grandparents in one grave at Rose. The stone read AMANDA CONREY. Sam's daughter ALDA CONREY KINNEY, told me before she died two years ago that Amanda and Leander Conrey were in the same grave now because there were only bones left and it was "proper". Anything I can get on any of this line is welcome. Also on boxing at the OC Golf and CC during the early 1930's. My father JASPER HOLDEN CONREY boxed for them and I have a photo of him in bosxing stance, standing on the diving board. Thanks for you time. Goood hunting Dorothe Conrey Turley in LALA Land.
