Ernest's occupation is Manager of a Laundry. Are there any marriage dates for Ernest Gerard in Oklahoma City? What are the odds of two Ernest Gerards having the same birth date?     2. Is it possible that Bertha was his mother's name? My grandfather listed his mother as the next of kin. It took me quite a while to figure it out because his handwriting or that of the registrar was pretty hard to read.

He was born November 3, 1884 in Iowa and had moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Registration Card has raised a question for me, because it states that the nearest relative is Bertha Gerard. They lived at 1239 W. 5th St. In the1930 census, Ernest and his wife, Alice, were living in San Diego County, California. They were married about 1920. Ernest's father was living with them. Does anyone have any information about these people? Trying to determine if Bertha was his wife that I didn't know about. Thank you

    2. Can't help you with your research but I have RR people in OK in 1903 on. There are RR histories and organizations, which I can't name but if you know which RR go there first. If you don't {as I didn't} know the RR. Look up old maps to see which RR ran where they lived. Hope this helps you get started and Good Hunting Dorothe
