LUCY WRIGHT - The body of Mrs. Lucy Wright, a former Oklahoma City resident who died last Thursday at a hospital in Vallejo, Calif., is being shipped to Hahn funeral home for services and burial. Arrangements were pending Tuesday night. Mrs. Wright and her husband, T. R. Wright, were married in Oklahoma City 18 years ago, and lived here eight years. They were residents of Walters until 1941 and were living in Vallejo at the time of Mrs. Wright's death. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her mother, Mrs. E. Phillips, Shawnee; a brother, Oliver Bush, Shawnee; five children, Vance Edwin, Jimmie, Robert, Joan, and Nelda Fay, all of the home address, and four sisters whose names were not immediately available."

I did the free search and I think I found your obit. There is an untitled article on June 4 and the Deaths article on June 3. I have saved obits from the Daily Oklahoman online. I couldn't find an obit for the person you're looking for. Be aware the obits in the Daily Oklahoman are not free. Someone has to pay for them. There is a list of state deaths listed each day. I didn't save the death lists for that time period. You can search the Daily Oklahoman Archives online for 24 hours for a small fee. You can download an unlimited number of articles in that 24 hour period. http://www.newsok.com/theoklahoman/archives/ You can also do a free search (which I did) for Ogle and there were 0 hits between Jun 1 & 6 2003. The California Death Index on Ancestry.com shows Lucy did die in Solano County, California, on 18 May 1944. Unfortunately, this index does not list burial sites. Ordering the death certificate from California is the obvious first step in locating her burial site. There may be an obituary in the "Daily Oklahoman" archives for Thomas if he died near Oklahoma City.
