    1. Billye Wilcoxen Cogburn or Warren Cogburn or Jimmy Walker
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: WILCOXEN, COGBURN & WALKER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YaB.2ACI/1448 Message Board Post: I am seeking information on a Jimmy Walker. I was told that he was the son of Billye Wilcoxen Cogburn. Billye died in 1985. Her husband Warren Cogburn died in 1993. He had remarried after Billye died. It was this second wife that told me that Billye had a son named Jimmy Walker who lived in Oklahoma City, OK somewhere and that his wife's name was Susan. Billye was evidently somehow related to my Pierce line, she being somehow descended from my Great Grandmother's sister. I found a query in an old Oklahoma genealogy book years ago and when I tried to contact her found out that she had already passed away. Her husband's new wife did not want to relate any information to me at all about her, except to tell me about this son of hers named Jimmy Walker. If anyone has heard of them please let me know, as I would like to contact him to see if he knows our connection. There are a ton of Jimmy or James Walkers in Oklahoma County, so I haven't begun writing to all of them ye! t, as that would cost quite a bit in postage. That will be my next step though if I don't find any other information out. Thanks so much. Patty

Your past info. helped me find that H. Gaylord married Minnie Harriet McCormick a daughter of Benard and Rachel Jane McCormick of Oklahoma. I haven't located a date yet for that marriage which must have occured in Okl. City after the 1930 census. It seems that H. Gaylord and Minnie Harriet may have died in Tx. and I think I have found them but not certain yet. Thanks for your help. You've been very kind.

It seems unlikely that there would be two Emma Smiths in Oklahoma with identical dates of birth. Thank you for looking and for the Elmer A Smith hint and also correcting my death date. I must have copied it wrong from Rootsweb. I think I will still write for Emma's death certificate because the birthdate is too coincidental.

    1. Killing of Isaac [Ike] Mann in OKC
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: MANN-STONE-MILLIGAN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YaB.2ACI/1447 Message Board Post: I need some assistance & I have very little info to go on. A great-aunt, Julie Milligan Stone had a daughter, Lillian A. Stone who married a gentleman with the surname of Mann [first name unknown] and they had a son, Isaac who was supposedly killed in OKC. Now here is my problem I have only the 1930 Census of Oklahoma Co. in which I think I found them living in OKC. Isaac was 16 years old and if I'm not mistaken the killing took place when he was still a young man. Is it possible for someone to look in the cemetery indes & see if he might be listed in one of them, then maybe that date could be looked up in the newspaper archives. I realize this is asking alot but I know nothing else to do. Thanking you in advance for any assistance. Wanda
