He was born in Jacksboro, TX on Sept 9, 1959, the third child of Henry & Shirley Roewe. They lived in Windhorst, Texas until moving to Oklahoma City in 1969. He attended Bishop John Carroll, Bishop McGuinness High School, and graduated from Mt. St. Mary's High School in 1978. He married his childhood sweetheart, Teresa Nash in 1980 & loved her with a deep and unwavering love. His children, Kevin, 9, and Elizabeth, 6, were the highlight of his life. He cherished his kids & was involved in every aspect of their lives. Paul is survived by his wife and children of the home. He is also survived by his parents, Henry & Shirley Roewe and his in-laws, Kenneth & Marie Nash. Paul was best friends with his brothers and sisters and their spouses who survive him, Monica and Matt Wenthold, David & Melani Roewe, Susan & Scott Lively, Nancy & Steve Klabo and Michael Roewe. Paul considred Teresa's family like his own and is survived by Teresa's brothers and sisters and their spouses, Robert & Jody Nash, Bill & Dee Nash, Rick & Kelly Nash, Leo & Sharon Nash, Carla Nash, and Maria & Curt Meyer. He was a special uncle to his 25 nieces & nephews, sitting at the kids' table at holidays & sharing tricks and jokes with them. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Paul was employed by UPS and was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 8204. Paul was a very generous man always giving with his time. He coached Little League, assisted with Cub Scouts, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He was always available to help family and friends at a moment's notice. Paul enjoyed reading, shopping for antiques, and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed working at his pecan grove that he called the "woods". Paul was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Our lives have been forever changed as his death leaves a void in the hearts and lives of so many. Services are as follows: Wake 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 20th and Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21st both at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 50th & Grove, Oklahoma City." RAOGK

Freeman met a ready-made family later with whom he chose to share the rest of his life, and married Dortha (Reid Welch) July 1968. Freeman worked 52 years for Federal Corporation where he developed and cherished many lifelong friendships. He was a witness for Christ through his words and deeds and was a loyal member of the First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Dortha, of the home; son, Tommy Welch, and his wife, Mary Ann, of Moore; son, Keith Welch, and his wife, Joni, of Oklahoma City and daughter, Vicki Watts, and her husband, Clyde, of Southlake, TX; two cousins, Norman Thomas, of Atlanta,!
