According to family lore, Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ellis Byrne Isaacs was shot and killed by a Thomas N. Sparks. The death date of Lizzie Isaacs was listed in family Bible as January 4, 1916. The 1910 census has Lizzie Isaacs living in Clinton, Custer Co., with 2 youngest sons, Richard and Roy Isaacs. I have found nothing since that date. She was born 21 April 1867 in Tishomingo Co., Miss. Her 2 sons, no date available, later shot and killed Thomas N. Sparks as he was being led to jail or courthouse for the murder of their mother. I would greatly appreciate any help on this as I've been searching for her grave for many, many years.
