I did find information on the Hotel Black at 5 North Hudson. The newspaper sometimes refers to the Hotel Black, sometimes the Black Hotel. I assume they are one in the same. It seems in October of 1979 it was sold (one of many times) for conversion into an office building. I took photos at Rose Hill Cemetery. Send me an email - I will reply with the photos. There is a double headstone and two footplates, one for Jack and one for Margaret. Carol Davis [email protected]

Surnames: O'Donnell Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YaB.2ACI/811.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi. Thanks for the posting. I'm afraid I can't be of much help. I know very little about Patrick O'Donnell. I don't know his wife's name, so it could be they are the same man. Here is the little that I do know. He was born about 1843. Enlisted from Philadelphia. Occupation at enlistment was boatman. I found him on the 1890 Special Census living in Oklahoma City. I contacted the Oklahoma Historical Society, and they could not find any burial information on him. He applied for a pension in 1884, but never received one. I don't know if he was turned down, or if he died before he was able to receive one. That's about all I have. I only found a little information, and cannot seem to find anything else yet. Please let me know if any of this fits in with your information. Ted Co. K, 81st PVI
