I found 1 Lois Gray in the SSDI born 1913-1991 died in Edmond, OK which is just outside OK City. This would make her a little older than the Lois Gray you are looking for. There was also a record for a Charles Gray 1915-1981 died in the same city.

Hi, I have been unable to "Lois Love Gray" her. Her husband is Charles Gray I think he may have passed away. Several of her cousin are worried about her. Fearing she maybe in a nursing home or who knows?? I think she has a living son as well but I don't know his name. She is abt. 79 years old, last known to be in the Okla. City, Ok Area. Her parents were Winston "Wink" Love & Fay Maner Love ok Byars Ok & are they are in Byars Cemetery, in McCain co. All 8 children of my g grandfather Brinkley Maner are have passed away now. So the cousin's are trying to keeps a eye out for each other to & or in touch. I have been working on our family history & the Older cousin are concerned about her. She would be a 1st cousin once removed to me but 1st of my father & two other cousins that are worried so. I told them I'd try my best to find her. I'm in Dallas TX. Not quite sure what to do I prossibly do at this point. I spend 2 days calling every Gray I could find in the phone book. Hi all I will try to explain this.I think it varies from paper to paper.Some have archives online,some do not.I know here were I live you can do a search online for old obits/stories but to obtain a copy after so far back you have to pay a fee. There was no charge for the Shawnee paper.It is at www.news-star.com.I clicked on archives and a list of years came up-they have them online back to 1997.You could search day by day in each month yourself or use their search engine.A word of warning,one day I tried to use their search engine and could not get it to work but could search myself day by day.So don't give up if it does not work.I hope this helps.If you needed something further back you would have to contact the paper and see how they handle their older archives.Tina Micheal Ruse __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
