    2. 29 aug 1895 Obituary- Pleasant PORTER JR, younger son of Gen'l Porter was killed accidentally while scuffling with another young man. He was only 17 yrs old. Mr J.R. ESTES and family, of Mississippi, have moved here. He is with Muskogee Produce Co. He is a cousin to our Mr H.T.T ESTES Wedding- cards are out for the marriage of Miss Imogene HAYNES, the talented daughter of Mr T.H. HAYNES, to Mr Robt Maurice RAWLES, editor of the Athens (Ala) Courier, athe the Methodist Church here, Sep 4th. They will be at home in Athens. 5 sep 1895 Webbers Falls-Mrs Eliz HARLIS has purchased a new carriage. She has been an invalid for some while, but is able to take drives each evening. Mr C.L. HAYES has moved into his mamoth new store.....though young in years, but old in experience. Mr W.M. GIBSON is another merchant here who has faith in Webber Falls. Birth- baby boy to Rev & Mrs W.P. KING, Sunday Mr Al ESSEX, who got a hand cut off in a machine at MADDINS's Mill some weeks ago, has recovered enough to be discharged by his physicians. He will visit his hom in Ottawa, Kansas for two weeks. Warner CRAIG, about 17 yrs old, came to this section from Springfield, MO. He fell in with some fishermen from near Braggs, and while seinging in the Arkansas River he drowned. His body was found near Webbers Falls. Death of engineer Frank GREEN. His body was taken to his family in Parsons, Kansas. Mr David STILL, son of Judge RATLEY's wife, and Miss Bessie GRAHAM, were married at Campbell last Sunday. 14 nov 1895 Webber Falls-Miss Ella, wife of Hiram LINDER, and daughter of J. E. McDANIELS, died ath the home of her parents last night, nov 8th.
