17 may 1900 memorial- Julia SCOTT, daughter of Mr & Mrs J.A. SCOTT, who was born in Muskogee, May 17, 1888, died May 13th. She was a student of Apaulding Institute. She leaves, besides parents, sisters and a brother. 10 jan 1901 died- James BINGHAM, a well known and highly respected merchant of Lee, died last Wednesday (note from me: this is from my line; a son of Pleasant Walker Bingham) 24 jan 1901 dead- Mrs Henry HOWELL, last Friday. She leaves a husband and five children- four girls and 1 boy. She is buried at Greenhill Cemetery. {Also a memoriam by the Astrea Chapter #14, O.E.S.} died- Mrs Mary BARTHELL, niece of Mr & Mrs George ELLIOTT, of this city at her home near Brush Mt Saturday. She leaves a husband an four small children Col. Pink HAWKINS, the oldest Creek in the Creek Nation died at his home west of Eufaula last Monday a week. He came to I.T. with the first lot of Creeks that came from Alabama and has held many important offices of the tribe. Had marvelous success in California, gold digging in 1849 and returned with a fortune. He was 90 years old (Dallas news) 31 jan 1901 Mr Robt HUTCHINSON and Flossie FAULKNER, of Checotah, were married last Saturday.....Mr Hutchinson used to live in Muskogee dead- Mrs Charles REAVES died at Lampasas Springs, TX, where Mr Reaves took his wife on account of her health. She left a husband and small daughter. She was buried at that place. Mr Reaves and daughter returned to Muskogee. married- on jan 14th, Mr John CASEY and Miss Savannah EVANS
