SHANKS, of Tahlequah performed the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in St Louis. They will live in Tahlequah. A poor crippled man, S.U. McCRARIE, who had been beggin the streets of the city, was found in poor condition on the prairies in the city limits. George WALLER, who found him, took him home to help him, but McCrarie died. Had come from WAgoner where it was said a faithless wife deserted him not long ago. 13 mar 1889 Reed DeBOIS returns from Alabama where he has been visiting relatives Died- at her home, in this city, at 12 oclock on last Friday, Mrs Hattie FULTON-SQUIRE, wife of W.L. SQUIER, age 34 yrs, 30 mo, 25 days. Leaves a husband and two year old girl. Three white men, near Webber Falls, Inman FLYNN, Wm THOMAS, and Wm NEWMAN, got drunk and entered a house occupied by Mrs Mary BARR a Cherokee widow woman and her children. They brok up and burned some of the furniture an dfired their revolvers off through the roof. They should be found and arrested. Died- Friday night last, Jesse MAYES, high sheriff to Cherokee Nation, died at Gibson after a short illness. He was on his road from Tahlequah to Ft Smith when taken sick. He was a nephew of Chief MAYES. Winheld STEWARD and Alec TIFNEY, two farmers near Sallisaw, Cherokee Nation, engaged in a quarrel Sunday last over a little misunderstand about a debt. Stewart drew his revolver and shot Tifney through the body. Tifney lived some four hours after the shooting.
