14 may 1926 Mrs Cornelia JOHNSON, of Baxter Springs, KS, spent last week with her son, Frank MURPHY, and mrs MURPHY north of town. 21 may 1926 A spring wedding of much interest was that of Miss Maude KIRKMAN, dau of Mr & Mrs George KIRKMAN of Paden, to Mr T.S. WOODS. The wedding occured in Okmulgee last Thursday evening. Mrs WOODS is a teacher in the Boynton High School John G. McCUTCHEON, aged 56 yrs, died ca twenty minutes after arriving at Dr TILLEY's hospital in Muskogee from a gun shot Tuesday afternoon. "Jack" as he was familiarly known, came to Boynton ten or twelve yrs ago and with his brother, James S., actively engaged in drilling contracting. Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. (May 28, 1926 Kadosh Honor for Departed Boynton Man) Coming as a complete surprise to their many friends was the wedding of Charlotte BUTTLEGE, dau of Mr & Mrs Frank KLEIN, to Mr Carmi ALLRED, Saturday morning at the home of the groom's brother, Mr & Mrs C.E. ALLRED. Mrs Nell DURANT had as her house guest over the weekend her aunt, Mrs Elizabeth HOLMES of Keystone. Mrs O.R. HARTMAN will leave Friday for Butler, PA, where she will visit her mother. 28 may 1926 Mr & Mrs Lex BRAME and children, of Bay Springs, MS, arrived Thursday for a visit to Mr BRAMES's sister, Mrs G.M. MANAR and family C.C. WATSON, of St Joseph, MO, spent Thursday night and Friday with his cousin, L.H. SMITH and Mrs SMITH in this city Mrs Russell SUPPES and two sons, Ralph and La Waite, of Tulsa, were here for the high school commencement Wednesday of last week. They spent the remainder of the week with Mrs SUPPES parents, Mr & Mrs S. TAYLOR southwest of town. Miss Velma GRIFFIN and Mr Joe Ross MARTIN, of Council Hill, were united in marriage Tuesday evening in the home of Mr and Mrs H.G. BOLER in this city. The young couple will make their home in Council Hill.
