    2. 3 may 1900 died- Mrs Sarah SANDERS, after a lingering illness died last Sunday. She is the wife of J.W. SANDERS. Will be buried at Greenhill Cemetery near her daughter Nina, who died 2 or 3 yrs ago. She was nee BUTLER, coming from one of the most prominent families of the Cherokee Nation. She leaves a husband and six children. (note from me: Sarah was m. #1 to Benjamin Porter) married- Mr. B.R. DuBOIS returned from Alabama where one April 25th he married to Miss Lizzie GANTT, daughter of prominent family whom Mr DuBois had known since childhood. wedding- at the Episcopal Church, April 30th, Mr W.N. PATTERSON and Miss Catherine RECTOR The couple left on the northern bound flyer for St Louis and then to Europe. Mr Patterson inherited a large part of his uncle's estate and Patterson Mercantile Co. Mrs Patterson is the eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs Rector, of this city, who came here several years ago from Ft Smith, AR. Her own family is one of the oldest in western Arkansas, being the grand daughter of Major Eias RECTOR, early settler. 10 may 1900 dead- George E. NELSON, one of the territory's best known attorneys died in his office at the court house..he was between 40-50 yrs old. His two daughters live some where in Texas. A nephew Flowers NELSON lives in Tulsa
