12 feb 1891 Died- James HENDRICKS, son of G.W. HENDRICKS, of Muskogee, was killed instantly by a switch engine at the M.K. & T. yard Sunday. He was 14 years old. Beauregard TORRANS returns from McGregor, Texas where he attended the funeral of his only daughter, Katherine May, age 5, who died June 29th. 6 aug 1891 Despite denials it is a fact that Miss Pearl REED, daughter of Belle STARR, was recently married to Will HARRIS, of Holden, MO. The license was issued by T.N. FOSTER of S. McAlester, and Parson BARNHILL, who lives five miles south of Whitefield, I.T. perforned the ceremony. Many old residents of the city who knew Capt A.M. PETTIGREW, formerly in the insurance business in this city with Mr A.A. ENGART, will be pained to learn of his death which occured July 29th at Bedore, VA Mr Thomas BURDEN, Holden, MO, father of the boy who drowned two months ago athe Arkansas ferry was in town to investigate.
