    2. abstracts from Boynton News, Muskogee Co, OK 19 mar 1926 Miss Katherine THOMPSON, dau of Dr. M.K. THOMPSON of Muskogee, was united in marriage to John D. RUTHERFORD in Sapulpa last Sunday Mrs L.L. ADAIR was born in Okla and died Saturday afternoon, age 51 years. She is survived by her husband, T.W. ADAIR and six children: Mrs Claude BETHEL, Misses Gladys, Jessie, and Cornelia ADAIR of Boynton, Mrs Joe KNOWLES of Sallisaw, and a son , J.C. ADAIR of Tulsa. A father, A.G. WELCH and two brothers Robert and Joe WELCH of Sallisaw. Burial in Sallisaw Cemetery. births: A dau to Mr and Mrs E.B. BOLLINGER west of town Feb 22 a son to Mr & Mrs C.H. HOWELL west of town Feb 25 a son to Mr & Mrs Lummie REESE north of town Mar 7 a son to Mr & Mrs L.C. JOHNSON northeast of town Mar 8 a son to Mr & Mrs L.W. HOUSE in this city last Friday and a son to Mr & Mrs Bert WILLIAMS last Friday. Mrs Bessie LORREY of Checotah, visited her parents, Mr and Mrs W.W. WEST, Sunday F.W. PRATT and family are moving to Okmulgee this week, being transferred by Pure Oil Co 26 mar 1926 In pretty compliment to her dau, Miss Evelyn, whose birthday it was Mrs F.F. HARRIS entertained a large number of her friends at her home Saturday evening. Mr & Mrs F.R. HYER moved to Okmulgee Wednesday to make their future home. They have lived in Boynton and vicinity for around ten years. 2 apr 1926 Joe ROBERTS, of Maysville, MO, and Charlie KEMP, of Stewartsville, MO dodged into Boynton Monday morning to say "Howdy-do-Good-bye". Joe is a native Oklahoman, having been born at Hartshorne 29 years ago and spent his early boyhood at McAlester and Muskogee. 9 apr 1926 Miss Chessie BECK and Mr O.A. HAGGARD, of Council Hill, were united in marriage Monday night by Rev G.H. McANALLY at the Methodist parsonage. They were accompanied by Mr and Mrs H. CARNET. 16 apr 1926 Last Fri was the birthday of Mrs Frank OBER and Mrs C.O. DAVIS 23 apr 1926 As a pretty compliment to her son, Irvin, whose birthday it was, Mrs Mae W. HYND entertained with a splended 6 oclock dinner Monday evening. Mr & Mrs W.J. YOUNG had as their guest Sunday Mr YOUNG"s father and mother, Mr & Mrs Frank YOUNG, of Bald Hill, and Orville NELSON of Madison, KS. The tragic death of Horace HINTON last Thursday was received with great sorrow by many friends of Horace in Boynton. He was instantly killed in a Midland Valley motor car collision near Barnsdall. He was surveying for M.V. and was riding the little car when it met another headon on a curve. Horace made his home here for several years. He was a brother to Mrs R.C. KOBEL births: a daughter to Mr & Mrs Maurice CLOUD in Council Hill, March 28 a son to Mr & Mrs Jesse HOLLAND at Pierce, March 31 a dau to Mr & Mrs J.E. COOK northwest of town, Apr 6 a son to Mr & Mrs O.T. JACKSON south of Council Hill, Apr 9 a dau to Mr & Mrs H.L. BENTON in this city Apr 15 Mrs Alva COX of Wilson, is the house guest of Mrs Clark EPPERSON. Mrs Cox was Esther SETTLE. The many Boynton friends of Herbert WINELAND, nephew of Mr H.L. WINELAND, will learn with sorrow of his death which occured at his home in Stola, IL, last Thursday Pat PATTERSON, formerly of Boynton, now residing in Okemah, visited friends here Sunday 30 Apr 1926 Norman POE, of Klamath Falls, OR, arrived last Friday for a visit to his mother, Mrs R.H. WILBOURN, and family
