CASSELMAN was called to Wellston one day last week by the death of her brother woho was killed by a cavein while working in a tunnnel. She accompanied the body to Kansas for interment at the old family home. A wedding of great surprise as well as of unusual interest was that of Miss Mureda HUMPHREY and Mr Walter GABLE which took place Feb 11 at the home of Prof and Mrs C.B. HELMRICH in Norman. Mrs Gable is the eldest dau of Mr and Mrs S.E. HUMPHREY, of this city and the groom is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs C.P. GABLE of Norman. 26 feb 1926 J.A. BLACKWOOD, who was cashier of the Francis Vitric Brick Co, for the past seven yrs has been appointed traveling auditor for the United. They will move to Tulsa shortly. Boynton is going to lose another fine family in a few weeks, Lieut. and Mrs R.G. LAWRENCE and children, to Muskogee. The dau born to Mr and Mrs S.B. REDMOND at Champion, IL Jan 19 last, died Monday of last week. Mr and Mrs Redmond were former residents of this city. 5 mar 1926 Mr and Mrs INDEX have at last become "great", a daughter having been born March 1 to Mr and Mrs Ray BURNS at Tarkio, MO. Mrs Burns, ne Mabel HAUN, being a niece of the family. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Leslie HAUN, of Fairfax, MO. 12 mar 1926 George JAMMELL, aged about 45 yrs, died from an auto accident Friday afternoon in Boynton. Funeral services were held in Okmulgee. He was unmarried and when in Boynton made his home with the TONE family. G.L. COCHRAN was 71 yrs old last Sunday and a surprise dinner was given in his honor. Mr and Mrs COCHRAN have been married nearly 52 yrs, Aug 1874, and have six living children. Mr and Mrs E.B. PETERS, of Muskogee, moved to Boynton. Mr Peters is an employee of the refinery.
