It appears that most people on this mailing list do not know what should be in the Subject Line. I have received over 75 messages with the Subject - Muskogee City Directory and only a few are to do with the Muskogee City Directory. You can still use the reply and change the Subject line. It is easy to click on Subject line, delete what is there and put new information where the old stuff was. Most all Mailing List that I belong to, ask that the Subject line contain Surnames that are included in the message. The Subject line should contain information that pertains to the content of the message. If you put the Subject of your posting in the Subject Line it might give you a better chance to attract the attention of someone who has the information you are looking for or the attention of someone who is searching for the information you are posting. If you get hundreds of E-mails each day, the proper Subject Line helps to know whether to read the message or delete it. If you want only one person to know what's in the message, then send it privately to that one person. But, if you want to share, then, PLEASE, put Surnames in the Subject line or identify content clearly. Thanks for your consideration, Kathryn
