I am trying to find more information on my gg grandparents and thier children. Seborn B Posey born 1847 Coosa Co. Al. died 1916 Montgomery Co. Ar Barbara I Posey born 1849 Blount Co. Al died 1915 McIntosh Co., Ok children: 1. Sarah S. born 1872 Winston Co. Al died 1941 Garland Co. Ar m. 1. George W Hill 2. Augustus Keenom 3. Carl G Moffett 2. Modena Effie born 1875 Winston Co. Al died 1916 Haskell Co. Ok. m. 1 Richard H Douglas 2. William Marion "Hick" Hubble 3. Napoleon "Nap" born 1878 Al died 1908 Haskell Co. Ok 4. Meady born 1873 or 1885 Al died 1981 McIntosh Co. Ok I find in the 1900 Indian Territory Census Choctaw Nation Township Dist 75 Township 10 N Seborn, Barbara & Napoleon living in one house hold and next door is daughter Modena with husband Richard Douglas. In 1910 MUSKOGEE CO. OK. I find Seborn, Barbara and Berna E age 25 Widowed. Berna is Meady Meady supposedly married really young to a man that was either a bank or train robber. She overhead him plotting a robbery with someone else. When she knew he had saw that she overheard them she started running. He shot at her and it put a permant part in her hair. He may have died later in California. And she hid from him for years. Now she was not living at home in 1900 but back as a widow in 1910. So who did she marry? Meady married in Arkansas William R. Hill in 1917 and lived in Arkansas until after 1940 when Will died. She supposedly got some land given to her in Ok for her Indian blood. How do I find out about that? She did not have any children to live - they died as babies. I'm trying to find out anything on any of these when they lived in Oklahoma Sharon
