Found a Darlington, OK In Canadian County, 5 mile NW of El Reno. Cheyenne-Arapho Indian Agency established thre in 1870. First newspaper in Oklahoma Territory, Cheyenne Transporter published there in 1879. A post office from April 2, 1873, to July 31, 1918. Named for Brinton Darlington, Quaker Indian Agent.
