I don't know if you are interested but I traced some history of my ancestors (Perryman's) reading the Dawes Commission and the Allotment of the Five Civilized Tribes by Kent Carter. My ancestors are mentioned several times and the role in that travesty of history, I cannot vouch for the accuracy of all of the information but it might shed some light on your ancestors if they were one of the tribes involved in the allotment of land.
