Bobby or anyone that may be interested, I am trying to find information on a family named Rogers that had two daughters that married into the Morton family. According to the death certificate for Alma Elizabeth Morton - she was born 20 June 1882, in Gore, Indian Territory, and died 8 February 1965, in Sequoyah Memorial Hospital, Sallisaw, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. Her father was George Rogers and her mother was unknown. Alma married Neal Morton (maybe Cornealus), circa 1899, their first child, William Morton, was born 20 October 1900. I found Alma as head of household with five children and Jane Rodgers on the 1920 Oklahoma Census, Muskogee County, McLain Township. Jane Rodgers is listed as 'mother', age 59, widow, born in Arkansas. I believe that Jane's maiden name may have been Quinn. Alma's sister Zonie Rogers, born about 1890 and died about 1915, married Jack Cleveland Morton on 4 August 1910, at Gore, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. Do any of these names ring any bells? I would very much appreciate any help I can get on the Morton or Rogers family. Thank you for your time, Ms. Cecil V. Boyd
