Found a Darlington, OK In Canadian County, 5 mile NW of El Reno. Cheyenne-Arapho Indian Agency established thre in 1870. First newspaper in Oklahoma Territory, Cheyenne Transporter published there in 1879. A post office from April 2, 1873, to July 31, 1918. Named for Brinton Darlington, Quaker Indian Agent. Hi Mildred; My name is Billie and I used to live in Bakersfield but I now live in Modesto. and the past year I have been bringing up the Californian on my Web T.V because I still have some relatives and friends there. but for the past three weeks I haven't been allowed access to the obit,s or even the local new,s, I notice you too are on web tv. are you having any trouble getting on or do you get your information directly from the newspaper? I was wondering if maybe their going to take the newspaper off line.
