I am looking for Gertrude Brown /Laws that married a Woodlock. she lived in Okla in late 1960's. Gertrude was born about 1911. She lived with a John Henson in 1920. Can any one help? thank you . Helen
I am seeking any information on the above couple, George Pierce Stewart and Mary Elizabeth (Mae) Bobo. By the 1920 census, it appears they had Clarence, Ruby, George Jr. and Gladys. After that census, they may have at least 3 more. Many of the children moved and settled in the Modesto, California area. George Pierce Stewart is the younger brother of John Wesley Stewart (my ggrandfather) and William (Will) Sebastian Stewart. My grandfather was Joe Wesley Stewart. I am interested in any family information connected to the surnames Stewart, Biddy/Biddie, Lankford and Bobo. Thank you very much.... Karen Oklahoma

Colleen. I am not sure if the Spears family that you have is mine or not. The only names and birthdates that I have that I am positively sure of are: Elbert Harrison Spears born March 22, 1890 and his brother William Wiley Spears born March 6, 1882 Elbert's Death Certificate has Nick Spears listed as his father, and has Linda (Maiden Names Unknown) listed as his mother. However, I have been told by other family members that, Elbert's mother's name was Anna (Lynch) Spears. I have also been told that there were two sisters, Addie and Ide or Ida (not sure of the spelling) on the latter's name. I have no birthdates for the parents or the sisters. Elbert's Death Certificate also states that he was born in Arkansas, I am unsure of this, because some family members have said that William (Elbert's brother) was born in Oklahoma or Missouri. I cannot find any of them on the US Census in Arkansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma before 1920. I did find Elbert on the 1920 US Census in Haskell County, Oklahoma. So, do you have any of these names in the paperwork that you have? If so, then yes I would be interested. I do know that there are two (2) Spears families in the Stigler, Haskell County, Oklahoma area. The only names that I have are the ones that I have listed here. William had 9 children, only two are still living, Annie (Spears) Few and Maudie (Spears) Green. The rest are all deceased. They were originally from the Stigler, Oklahoma area, but then settled in Pittsburg County around Mountain Home, Palestine, and New Liberty. William and his wife are buried in Palestine Cemetery. I hope and pray that this is the family that you have, I am just about at my wits end with trying to find my Spears family. I am very new to tracing my family trees and I am sorry about not accepting attachments. But would you please let me know if any of these names or dates coincide with what you have. Thank you, Joyce
Karleta and/or Joyce: You didn't say if you were interested in this information that I have or not. Let me know.OK: Colleen

Claus, Patsy and anyone else that may be interested - I have an Elizabeth Pauline Corbell, born 17 Sept 1903 in Tahlequah, died 17 July 1988 in Placer Co., CA. She married William Albert Oslin on 4 Aug 1923 in Porum. William was born 21 Jan 1903, in Haskell, Muskogee Co., and died 7 Oct. 1989 in Placer Co., CA. They had Billy Owen Oslin born 1 May 1924 and Francis Elizabeth Oslin born 6 Dec 1926, that I know of. Do you know if there is a connection between Elizabeth Pauline and the Corbell's you have mentioned? I do not know anything more about her, except that her mother's maiden name may have been Griffith. Also am looking for information on Elbert's first wife, JENNIE SPEARS and her first husband Jimmie Mykle. Can anyone help, I have hit a dead end with this family before 1950.
